When the AS7926-40XKFB is interconnected with the Edgecore AS9926-24D (Ramon), AS7926-40XKFB forms a distributed chassis architecture to build a scalable and flexible network infrastructure that provides high throughout bandwidth for routing, packet processing, and efficient traffic management. This open network switch is loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which supports the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) soſtware, including the open source option Open Network Linux, plus commercial NOS offerings.</p>
